We are delighted to welcome you to the Interaction Design and International Development (IDID) Conference, scheduled for November 7-9, 2024, in Mumbai, India, organised by IFIP, a multinational organization in Information & Communications Technologies and Sciences. This conference is organised by working group 13.8 in IFIP TC13.
The IDID conference is designed as an international platform where both emerging and experienced researchers from academia and industry can converge to exchange their latest findings in the ever-evolving realm of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) in the domain of International Development. The conference is part of the agenda of working group 13.8 committed to advancing HCI research, practices, and education on a worldwide scale, championing interaction design that caters to the needs of the developing world, and advocating for cross-cultural HCI practices, particularly within burgeoning economies. It also seeks to fortify the connections within the HCI community and related entities engaged in international and cross-cultural ICT development. We cordially extend an invitation for you to join this eminent conference, which is focused on presenting trailblazing work in interaction design from across the globe. Contributions presented at IDID will be considered for publication by Springer, showcasing your research on an international scale.
